Key Responsibilities:

    Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with legal and professional standards.

    Provide clinical advice and support to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.

    Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings to optimise patient care.

    Monitor and review patient medication regimens, making necessary adjustments in collaboration with the healthcare team.

    Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, guidelines, and Trust policies.

    Contribute to the training and development of pharmacy support staff and students.

    Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • \n

    Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

    \n
  • \n
  • \n

    Completion of a recognised pharmacy degree (MPharm or equivalent).

    \n
  • \n
  • \n

    Successful completion of the Pre-Registration Pharmacy Year or equivalent experience.

    \n
  • \n
  • \n

    NHS mandatory training completion.

    \n
  • \n

Desirable Skills:

    Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.

  • \n

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
