Assembly Operative / Fabrication Assistant\n\nc.£29,000 + Overtime + Training + Long-Term Stability\n\nMaidstone\n\nContracted Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm, Friday 8:00am-4:30pm \n\nContact: Emily or Sammy at PWR\n\nLooking for a stable, long-term opportunity with a well-established manufacturer where reliability is genuinely valued and recognised?\n\nWe're working exclusively with a successful and growing manufacturing business that is seeking a practical, dependable individual to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing a good job and wants to become part of a close-knit team where people are trusted, supported and encouraged to develop.\n\nThis is not a highly technical fabrication role and there is no welding involved. Instead, you'll be assembling bespoke aluminium products, working from drawings and instructions, using a variety of hand tools and workshop equipment to produce quality finished products.

The role would suit somebody with experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse operations, construction products or any environment where practical skills and attention to detail are important. \n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\nAssembling aluminium products and components to specification \n\t\nFollowing drawings, work instructions and production schedules \n\t\nUsing hand tools and workshop machinery safely and effectively \n\t\nChecking finished products meet quality standards \n\t\nSupporting the wider production team to meet customer deadlines \n\t\nMaintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment \n\t\nIdentifying and reporting any issues that could impact quality or production \n\nWhat we're looking for:\n\nPrevious experience within manufacturing, assembly, production or a similar hands-on environment \n\t\nConfidence using hand tools, power tools or workshop equipment \n\t\nA positive attitude and willingness to learn \n\t\nStrong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work \n\t\nSomeone who values teamwork and contributes positively to a small, supportive environment \n\t\nA consistent work history demonstrating commitment and reliability \n\t\nOwn transport due to the location \n\nWhy apply?\n\nSecure, permanent position with a well-established business \n\t\nSupportive management team with a practical, down-to-earth approach \n\t\nOvertime available to increase earnings \n\t\nTraining and development opportunities \n\t\nPotential future upskilling, including forklift training and exposure to more specialist products \n\t\nFriendly team culture where everybody plays an important role in the success of the business \n\nIf you're someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in turning up, getting stuck in and being part of a reliable team, we'd love to hear from you
